From the Pastor's Desk 10/15/2021

Who gets to sit in positions of privilege in the Kingdom of God? Jesus answers by going deeper into the theme we heard last week about the first being last and the last, first. "Whoever wants to be great among you must become a servant." Ouch.

I don't know about you, but I enjoy my position of privilege. I am not fond of getting down on my knees to do the dirty work. Yet, Jesus calls me to join him there. And while I'm down on my knees, spending time with Jesus, I get to experience the Kingdom in all its glory. Imagine that!

This Sunday there will be no TALKBACK after worship, so I can meet with Confirmation parents. Mark your calendar now for Confirmation Sunday, October 31st!
