From the Pastor's Desk 11/24/2021

This week brings the 'Friday' blog post to you on Wednesday, since the church office will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Enjoy time with your families, and if you need a place to have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, come over to the parsonage! There will be room at the table for you.

This Sunday brings us to the season of Advent, when we anticipate Christ's coming. Here are some highlights to put on your calendar:

• December 12 - 4:30 PM - Prayer Drive through Willmar! Meet at the church to get your 'prayer route', then travel through part of our city looking at Christmas light displays, praying for the people who live in those houses and the people who, like you, are admiring their lights. Return to the church for chili and a carol sing OUTDOORS around the circle drive.

• December 19 - 9:30 AM - Join us for Christmas Pageant in a Box during worship. You can be part of the pageant! See the Spire for details.

• December 24th - 5 PM ONE Christmas Eve service with Communion and carols.

• December 26th - First Sunday of Christmas ONLINE Worship only. A service provided by the Conference will inspire you and give your worship team a much-needed rest. Worship with your family in your jammies!
