It's the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. There is snow on the ground, and the weather forecast for Easter Sunday looks more like February than mid-April. (Aren't you glad we didn't plan an outdoor service for Easter morning?)
If you've been following the Pastor's Blog on our website through Holy Week, you've considered what happens between Palm Sunday and Easter morning. Jesus teaches, prays, and challenges not only the religious leaders, but also his disciples (that means us) to a new way of living. Not dying - living.

That can be easy to forget on Good Friday, when we focus on the Cross and Christ's death for us. At noon today, there will be another post on the Pastor's Blog to remind us of the darkness Christ overcomes - not by his death, but by his resurrection.
I hope you will join us in person or on Facebook Live for tonight's Good Friday Tenebrae service. Then take some time on Saturday to re-read John 14-17, Christ's final words to his disciples. These words are for you, too.

Join us for Easter worship at 9:30 AM Sunday, followed by Coffee Time and an Easter Egg Hunt for the little ones! We will welcome a new member and baptize a young child, both signs of resurrection among us. May your Easter celebration continue into the coming weeks as we celebrate 21 Days of Hope together. Get ready to declare, "The Lord is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!"
