My sister's birthday is on the 13th of the month, so whenever her birthday falls on a Friday, we give her a hard time about being "unlucky." Superstitions can paralyze our faith if we let them. Jesus offers a different way of looking at the world: through the lens of love. Join us on Sunday - in person or via Facebook LIVE! - as we hear Christ's final teaching on the subject of love.

Next Sunday is both Confirmation Sunday and Aldersgate Sunday, when we remember how John Wesley's heart was strangely warmed at a gathering in Aldersgate Street. John suddenly realized his own sins had been forgiven, and God's grace had already been poured into his life. Confirmation students have been experiencing God's prevenient, justifying, and sanctifying grace, and they are ready to take that 'leap of faith' to follow Jesus. It's a special time of celebration, and you will want to congratulate our confirmands: Matthew Friesen, Hazelee Hettver, Bryce Morton, and Travis Venenga. Instead of coffee in the narthex, we'll have cake and coffee down in Fellowship Hall. Please join us!
